Darron K. Fuller was raised in the capital of the United States, Washington, DC.  He took up photography using a Canon AE-1 and a couple of lenses at the age of 16. More recently, he has combined his love for travel and interest in world cultures to bring his concepts to life with One-500th.Com™.  Targeted at travel, culture, and educational publications, One-500th.Com aspires to be a source of high-quality and engaging stock images that capture the spirit of people immersed in their cultures.  Darron, also an avid scuba diver with 500+ dives since 1987, has also included underwater photography in his pursuit to capture the imagery that drives the dive travel industry.

He named his concept after the shutter speed setting representing 1/500th of a second.  At such a high speed, an instant of life can captured in what the photographic pioneer Henri Cartier-Bresson coined as “the decisive moment” that realizes a captivating image that will last through the ages.

Darron's photography has been featured in the premier travel magazine National Geographic Traveler. Click here to see the issue.
